Hey… I found a “new” antivirus… it’s probably the best AV software I’ve ever used. Additionally, it wins awards. It is called NOD32. I have actually purchased it… that’s how good it is.

I came accross it one day while researching the best AV solutions. Then one day my brother mentioned he uses… and then boyG mentioned he uses it. I tried it, and I really like. Importantly, I noticed a nice performance increase (especially in gaming) after getting rid of Symantec and installing NOD32.

Yes you can host the file here if you want to, I’m sorry I took so long getting back to this forum.
The file can be downloaded from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LZ18ZLYQ and it will be there for a while.
Thanks for following up James. I added the link permanently as a download hosted here. I also updated my post to include the file. I appreciate it!
Would you have any advice for RDP on my Samsung Omnia? It would appear as though the 640×480 mapping is not working properly as I can only scroll to a small percentage of my 1200×1600 server machine. Are there any other RDP protocol programs which are more friendly?
@Mike, sorry I am not aware of anything else.
Andrew,
I have a problem remote desktoping from Vista to XP through a VPN n/w, is this the right place to post the question?
Ravo — no problem. What problem are you having, and what Version of Vista & XP are we talking?
Hey Andrew I got the same netbook and plan to load Windows 7 on it, could you email me on how you did it without a disk drive? I have the image….
Hey Mark,
I created a bootable USB flash drive, and then copied the Windows 7 install files to it. Please note the Flash drive must be 4GB or greater.
These are the instructions I used: http://kmwoley.com/blog/?p=345 (these instructions are for Windows Vista, but the procedure is exactly the same on 7).
Hope this helps!
